  • In her very private and luxe wedding to cricketing superstar Virat Kohli in what is being called the Wedding of the Year, Anushka Sharma wowed fans and critics alike with her stunning choices of trousseau for all her wedding events. Here’s taking a look!

    For her engagement, Anushka opted for a velvet saree by Sabyasachi Mukherjee in Gulkand Burgundy color. Hand embroidered using miniature pearls as well as marori and zardosi, Anushka paired the gorgeous saree with equally quaint diamond studs and pearl choker, taking away our breaths in a heartbeat.

    For her mehendi ceremony, Anushka went with the boho look, with a fuschia pink and Indian orange lehenga, hand embroidered with marori and gota prints and hand printed by the famed Calcutta block printers. Anushka accessorised the look with 22 carat gold jhumkas adorned with tourmalines, Iranian turquoise, Japanese cultured pearls and uncut diamonds from the Sabyasachi Heritage Jewelry collection.

    For her wedding day, Anushka decided to go for a delicate and classic bridal look, opting for a pale pink lehenga with Renaissance embroidery and vintage English colours. The bridal lehenga was adorned with silver-gold metal threads, beads and pears. Teaming the lehenga with matha patti, earrings and a diamond choker, Anushka jazzed up the look with a sexy low bun adorned with Tuscan hydrangeas, making it a perfect combination of traditional, classy and sexy and giving us serious wedding dress goals.

  • In what was potentially one of the most lavish weddings in the film industry in 2017, Samantha Ruth Prabhu got hitched to beau Naga Chaitanya in October of 2017.

    For her mehendi, Samantha chose a Koesch lehenga with glass beading, cutwork and an ice blue tulle dupatta, going for the modern bride look.

    The wedding ceremony began with a traditional Tamilian wedding on 6th October, where the bride looked stunning in beautiful red and gold saree belonging to her husband’s grandmother, completing the look with delicate pieces of traditional jewellery, looking no less than a gorgeous queen.

    The actress made surprised us further by choosing a custom made gown by her best friend and designer Kesha Bajaj for her Christian wedding at a church in Goa, following her Hindu wedding.

    Going for a pink anarkali by designer Malvika Bajaj for her engagement ceremony, Hrishita looked like a doll, accessorising the look with minimal jewelry and makeup by artist Ajay Bisht. The actress completed the look with footwear by Aashka Mehta.

    For her Mehendi ceremony, the stunner gleamed like a spring bride with a bright blue ensemble by designer Preeti Singhal with floral accessory by Floral Art.

    For her wedding day, Hrishita went for a bright red and gold lehenga by designer Preeti Singhal, pairing up the lehenga with a gold matha patti, an exquisite necklace and gorgeous nath. With makeup by artist Meenakshi Dutt, Hrishita looked ready to steal our hearts on her wedding day!
